This Halloween was a lot of fun - it was Adelynn's first and Carter's first that he was REALLY excited for. All afternoon he was saying that he wanted to go trick-or-treat. I decided to change Adelynn's costume last minute. She was going to be a ballerina, but I made a quick dalmation costume to go with Carter's fireman. They were so cute together, and Carter was calling her a puppy. My mom was with us this year, and we went to the trunk-or-treat at the church parking lot first (for those of you who don't know, everyone just parks in a big circle around the lot and hands out candy from their trunks.) That went by really fast, and Carter totally scored! His bag was so full that he couldn't carry it by himself. Then we made a trip to Grandma/Grandpa Matthews, and to a few of our neighbors. Hope everyone had a great night!

that is so funny...dallin was a fireman too! weren't our boys the same thing last year also?? carter and adelynn are so cute together!! sounds like you had a fun night.
oh nevermind, i just remembered that carter was a train engineer....it must just be carter's love for curious george that made me think he was that last year!
We went to the ward trunk or treat too. It was kind of crazy, not to mention wicked dark. We forgot Benjamins shoes somehow so he walked around in his socks. Your kids are cute. Did you just put black dots on to white clothes? You didn't make her pants and top did you? If you did wow! You need to help me use my sewing machine.
