An oldie, but one of my favorites
Since the last installment of Carterisms, his vocabulary has grown by leaps and bounds. Here's some current favorites.
He uses "about" instead of "but" - as in "about I don't want to go to bed!"
With words like "finger" and "thing," there's a twang to the "i" that makes it sound like he has a Texan accent - as in "my fanger hurts"
"Wait a sec"
"Huh?" - he says this in a way that makes him sound like such a dunce
When Addie is crying in the car - "Oh Ads, just a few more minutes." (This is word for word what he's heard me say a number of times)
He runs the words "I am" together, adding an extra m - as in "here Imam"
His favorite joke: knock, knock - who's there? - Carter - Carter who? - JUST CARTER!

Oh he is just too cute. I love love love that pic of him! My Carter says "huh?" too & it cracks us up. He says it with such exaggeration too! Where do they learn these things! ;)

That is adorable! And such a cute idea, kids say the funniest things.
He's well on his way to thinking beyond you guys. But, so are most two-year-olds.
