and so are carnivals at the library!
This was quite some time ago, as you might tell from the raincoats they're wearing. The Salem Library has a carnival every year for preschoolers to kick off their summer reading program. We went last year and had a lot of fun, so decided to go again. It's just a bunch of little games in a room in the library, and the kids get prizes and treats. This year they had someone painting faces, and Carter wanted a big snake - specifically with the tongue sticking out - so that's what he got! I wasn't sure if Addie would cooperate, but she was great, just staring at the lady. These whistles were the favorite of all the prizes they won.
