He's almost 4 at least! His birthday is next week, but we celebrated it today with all his friends and cousins in Salem. One last big party with all those friends (not that we'll never see them again!). By request, his party was a nature theme, and although he's changed his mind a few times, I convinced him that his original choice would be fun.We had a few crafts to begin with - leaf rubs and little beaded things to tie around their walking sticks.
Then we went on a nature hike, going from clue to clue and arriving at the big surprise - the goodie bags!

It was a fun party, even with the rain! The kids didn't even seem to know it was raining anyway. Thanks everyone for coming and for all of the great presents Carter made off with!

Happy Birthday Carter! It looks like you all had a great time. When I got home from work Eleanor couldn't stop telling me about her walking stick and the campfire and all the fun she had at the party.
