nightly rituals

For the last couple weeks, Carter has made sure to include in his nightly prayers, "please bless our house and beds won't fly into outer space." Sometimes it's just the house, sometimes just the beds, but usually both are included. He also begins prayers "Dear Heavenly Father in Heaven."

Adelynn's favorite quiet song to sing at night is I Am A Child of God. Only, she pronounces it Child of Dog. Shows you what she thinks of our family! I've been coaching her to say it the correct way. She can perfectly pronounce a "g" and "d," but always switched around when she says the word. It's cute. Probably only to me, but still.
