We had ourselves a little airplane contest yesterday. Carter received a book last Christmas that shows how to fold about 10 different paper airplanes, as well as info about how planes fly and how you should throw your own well-made little wonder. So we made 4 and tested them out. Results as follows:
Straightest shooter & longest distance - School Yard Special
Best loop-de-loops - Steady Glide
Best spirals - Little Dart
Best at falling to the ground within 2 feet - Perfect
Addie had the book in hand the whole time, apparently busy looking up info on each plane. Carter was trying to beat his record time of throwing a plane and running to the next one as fast as possible. I love his faces in these first two.
