an early morning when you hear the toilet flush in the kids' bathroom at 6:40am. Then your 5-yr-old opens your door at 6:41. Oh, don't worry, he's just "checking on you." Not waking you up and demanding breakfast...like he will at 6:43.

We had one of those yesterday. Eleanor got up just before 6, crying because she had to potty. There was no chance of getting her back to sleep. Last night, it was around 3am, but she did go back to sleep. Small bladder = unpleasant sleep pattern
