We had a fun little night last week on cinco de mayo. Carter and I made salsa:
The verdict:
Then we had my great-grandma's enchilada recipe, with homemade tortillas, and our favorite sangria. All the while listening to some Buena Vista Social Club.
I don't think I've ever mentioned this on the blog, but that's Layne pictured with us. He is Stuart's cousin and has been living with us while attending college. The kids love him (and probably annoy him because they always want to play), and he's been a perfect addition to the household.
