Up to the annual Corbett parade again this year. It's such a good parade for kids - low key, easy to find a spot, and TONS of candy! Carter totally scored. He was hilarious to watch this year, he has the routine down pat. Last year he was a little scared of all the honking/sirens, but this time around he was prepared for it and he was waving machine. He looked like this the entire time:
Even when no one was coming, haha!
Addie had fun too. There was quite a break in the middle of the parade, so she was trying to roam around in the road.
But she loved these horses too! As well as getting thrown up in the air.
This was one of the highlights for Carter, besides the candy of course - he got talk to a real policeman, and get a badge from him!
Later we had our own little fireworks show in my parents' driveway. Stu put on quite the show. Well, to a 3-yr-old it was quite the show. I think Carter's exact words were, "This is the best, best, best, BEST fireworks show in the whole world Daddy!"
I just realized this is a lot of pictures for one little event...sorry!

Carts is so cute! I loved all the pictures.
What a fun 4th of July. Parades are the best on the 4th. The picture of Carter is so sweet of him waving...What cute little kids.
