the lawnmower

Around here, mowing the lawn is a pretty big deal. Addie is both enthralled with, and terrified of the thing. But whenever Stuart gets it out, both kids run around on the grass, chasing him and laughing/screaming.
We've also been having picnic lunches on the front lawn. But after the week of nice weather, it's cold and windy again. I'm already missing the picnics - why is it that kids always eat more and complain less than when they're having a "normal" lunch?!
